Point of view---- a blast from the past

Bigla ko naalala ang kwento ng prof ko way back college days.
"Taas nga ang kamay ng gustong mag work abroad?!".
She was about to leave her career, friends and her family to work abroad as a care giver which she'll be earning lots & lots of money and maybe Uncle Sam will make her dreams come true for her own good. Everything already set passport, papers and even her luggages were packed and she was standing at the airport waiting for her boarding But suddenly, she changed her mind. She run back to her husband which was filled with tears that time.
"Daddy, hindi na ako tutuloy.."
"ha! Ang tanga tanga mo talaga andito na tayo.. E, bakit ga?"
"I NEVER LOSE HOPE FOR OUR COUNTRY.."

Yes, she's a StateU prof which before has less than 20k a month salary. His husband is marketing clerk. Her first born daughter died because of cancer which lead nothing left to their savings.
Siguro nga tama si prof. As I heard news today maybe our country isn't at stake its recovering. PNoy is doing his best at his reign. Maybe Marcos is indeed a genius of all times... Pero siguro kapag nasa harapan mo ang yaman; temptation is hard to avoid.
Our country is trying to get over nag momove on na si Juan De la cruz (not coco martin; ang Pinas) I can say soo it's a bit going to a progress were digging the gold after several years from now siguro mauungusan muli natin ang mauunlad na bansa.
Never lose hope for our country.. Just like Ninoy said: Filipino are worth dying for. If we lose hope who'll have hope for our country if we Filipinos are not. Do we expect foreingners will do?
Changes isn't happen over night it takes time it takes years and even decades...
Going back to my prof. She's now blessed w/ two sons which even smart and admirable. She finished her masters and now pursuing her doctoral.degree, and stateu prof salaries increase a bit. If she continue to ride the plane does it changes her life of what she was having today. It was five years ago since i heard her story and it continue inspiring me as well.
Godbless Pinas!
